No doubting what season we're in now. It's hot man... ask any fire fighter. You can smell the Blue Mountains bush fires all around Sydney. Today's gusty 38 will come back to a more respectable 27 to 29 on the weekend, which is still plenty hot enough to scorch your feet on the tar. How's your summer body after the off season? We're off overseas again this week, to a special cliff-edge spot on the north Spanish Coast called Barrika. These places just ooze style don't they? |

Barrika is smack bang in Basque Country. Its ETA country (the Basque separatists who want their own language and nation), so be careful who your mates are - might end up on a mission into Madrid! Stick with the surfers. |

With about 79 bushfires ablaze around Sydney at the moment we thought a little list of local 'hot spots' to avoid this weekend would be handy. That is unless you're one of the many thousands of volunteer fire fighters sweating it up out there. Thanks team - seems to be an unfortunate annual event these days.

Last weeks competition sorted out the rosellas from the lorikeets. Not many were in the hunt - just a handfull picked the north coast near newcastle. Only one was close enough to award a winner. Well done Sinclair - it was actually called Blacksmiths Beach but your answer of the Swansea was close enough. One Riviera Beach Towel towel coming at ya!
