Newport's always worth a stop on a trip up the Northern Beaches. It seems that everyone
knows where Newport is and yet in never seems overly busy. The beach is long with
nice ocean baths at the south end. Heaps of parking in behind the surf club and
up the back there's plenty of grass for picnics.
