The bedrock on which Terry Rich Australia is built and why people buy our products. Well yes... there are a few other ingredients that help us along. Style. We have our own style. Think bold colours, straight lines and a consistent use of proportion. We are quite precious about keeping our style consistent. It is our signature. We are pretty sure others like it too. Just take one of our towels down to the beach or dress your toddler in a Terry Rich beach robe and head out. You'll see. People will notice, people will ask. Functionality. We like things that work and work well. We ensure our products are both functional and practical. We make things that improve your day at the beach or swim at the pool. Our beach towels have thirsty terry loops on both sides. That means they dry you on both sides. Yes it's possible. And we think of parents also. Little kids and swimming is enough to worry about so our kid's cover-ups are designed to help. They dry. They warm. They keep sun off and they stay-on! Truly are an after swim marvel. Durability. Terry Rich products last. It's not an accident. Our yarns are superior, our making standards extremely high and our quality control fastidious. We're not into waste and replace. We think products should be made once and made well. Our teams put in the hours to make the very best products that can possibly be made. Terry Rich is not a big company but we benchmark ourselves on the world's best. We have been around for almost 10 years now and can barely recognize ourselves in the mirror. From a humble beach towel launch in 2003 to an integrated, cross category towel and apparel collection in 2011. We started with a single independent retailer (thank you Coast of Avalon - you were so nice and so, so important!!). Today we coordinate a multi channel, multinational sales network 12 months of the year. Our 'sparkle' was born and has grown into a charming young adult with such a bright future. We couldn't be more proud. And yes, we are Australian. Our home town is Whale Beach, a secluded little oasis an hour or so drive north of Sydney. In Whale Beach we are close enough to the bright lights to stay on top of things but far enough out of town to escape the race and enjoy life by the sea. With the beach as our backyard and nearly an endless summer it is fair to say we all know our category well. In truth we spend a little too much time on the sand or in the water but what's wrong with that - we convince ourselves its work anyway! And so the Terry Rich story continues. New seasons, new ideas, new designs, new countries. We are still bricks and mortar but now also digital. If we're not yet in a store near you, remember we are only a click away.
