What an amazing little spot North Narrabeen is. Right up the top end of this never-ending beach is a perfectly protected, rock pool surrounded beach and ocean pool oasis. It's a great place for a swim, snorkel or surf. And great people too - very relaxed, local types. Such a nice little pacific playground to have close to home. On a quiet day you'll likely find yourself on your own around here, maybe the odd fisherman, lap swimmer or long boarder taking a left hander off the reef. It does get busy in Summer though - as you could expect. Lots of families with kids enjoying the safe swimming in and around the ocean pool.
A short walk back from the beach is the car park and next to that a couple of nice little cafes/restaurants for a breakfast plate or as a nice location for lunch or a coffee. Surfers will know North Narrabeen as one of the world's great waves when the swell is up. The hollow, peeling left hand break is famous and pulls the crowds when the swell's in town. For the experienced riders only.
