Bronte in Sydney's East is a little piece of Pacific heaven. The beach is small but tidy and the swimming baths are big enough to stretch out but still local enough to feel special. For the exercise challenged, try a paper and coffee on the steps and watch the sun slowly rise in the sky.
Bronte is a lovely place to live for those lucky enough to call it home. It is away from the hustle and bustle of its neighbour Bondi, but still only a stones throw from the city. The homes are not mansions, but given the location they definitely don't go cheap. Up behind the beach there is a strip of great cafes that all do super breakfast deals so you won't go hungry.
Here's a nice day plan. Start off with a few laps in the pool them warm up on the beach in the sun. Once dry head up for a hearty breakfast and a coffee. Once you're done, grab the dog and head off for a coastal walk towards Bondi - if you have the energy you can get all the way there, else turn back when you want. Back in Bronte, grab a burger, lay out your towel on the grass and watch the world for a while. Steal a few chapters of your favourite book before grabbing an afternoon coffee for the stroll back to your car or the bus. Sounds nice hey...
