We're off overseas to a special cliff-edge spot on the north Spanish Coast called Barrika. These places just ooze style don't they. Barrika is part of Basque Country. Barrika's seaboard is protected by imposing and dramatic cliffs making for a beautiful landscape and a very special spot to take a dip in the ocean. Access to the beaches are via steep little paths from the top of the cliffs down.
Once down there, Barrika Beach is ideal for long and relaxed walks and is also a favourite surfing spot for the Europeans. If fact close by Mundaka beach is considered amongst of the great surfing spots in the world... a favourite for the likes of Kelly Slater and Taj Burrows. When you think of Spain, you don't think of beaches and surf do you? Well, now you can. Surf's up... see you in Spain!
